“Life is intrinsically, well, boring and dangerous at the same time. At any given moment the floor may open up. Of course, it almost never does; that's what makes it so boring.” -Edward Gorey
Our fifth annual Halloween celebration of all things whimsical, dark, and Edward Gorey was our favorite to date. Guests dressed as woeful widows, hapless children, vengeful villains and ghouls were invited to roam free in a grand Victorian residential palace built in the style of a Renaissance palazzo, as dancers, musicians and opera singers cast their spell under projections of dancing skeletons, giant spiders, gilded bats and cobwebs.
We look forward to seeing everyone at PhantasmaGorey '14!
Our New Year's Eve Ball will be taking place at The DTA this year. Stay tuned for details!
"When good Americans die, they go to Paris." -Oscar Wilde
For Valentine's Day, our guests need not travel far to experience the famed City of Love at our annual 1930s Paris themed Valentine's Day masquerade ball. A romantic dinner is paired with an evening of equally delectable live music, cirque performances, dancing and matchmaking games for the perfect Valentine's Day.
Not to leave our single friends out of the fun, guests flying solo are invited to attend with a pink rose to identify their romantic status and participate in a night of romantic revelry.
See you at La vie Parisienne, February 14, 2015!
