|
Fern Knight: After moving to Philadelphia two years ago, Fern Knight has evolved into a solid touring and recording quartet, playing on local bills with legends like Vashti Bunyan and Joe Boyd and contemporaries Vetiver and Damon & Naomi.
Their cohesive recorded and live sound is driven by Wienk's acoustic guitar, cello and crystal vocals and rests upon the core quartet's improvisational skills and tasteful combination of acoustic and electronic instruments, providing the perfect vehicle for Wienk's unique songwriting and string arrangements. |

Charites: Charites is a trio committed to performing the music of Baroque composers and poets staged with period gesture. Charites is the Greek term for "Graces," referring to the three mythological daughters of Zeus and Eurynome. The Graces govern traits such as charm, beauty, and creativity, all of which the group aims to transmit through its performances. Charites has thrilled audiences in New York City, with performances on Artek's Midtown Music Series and at Columbia University and the CUNY Graduate Center. |
Morella & The Wheels Of If is a theatrical band with an old-world tone. Imagine you are taken back in time to the turn of the century. You enter a friend’s parlor with a trio performing for you, an inventive pianist and two female vocalists, dance into your ears. That sound is “Morella and the Wheels Of If,” but we exist here in the modern world. We formed the band in New Orleans and are influenced by the beauty and ruin we see all around us. Composers Aeryk and Laura (piano, vocals) are siblings and have been creating music together their entire lives, but this creation wasn’t complete until they banded their kindred spirits with Anastacia (vocals). |

New York City artist and designer Kathleen Marie will be showcasing select gowns from her 2009 "Sacré Coeur" couture collection. She designs and creates exclusive evening and wedding gowns, as well as Victorian-style corsetry. |
Her inspiration for this collection is based on the badge of the Sacré Coeur, (sacred heart) which was a symbol for the Royalist counter-revolution in 18th Century France, doubly serving as a symbol of faith, love and loyalty in times of hardship and duress.
Known for her 'over the top' styling, elaborate details, and dramatic silhouettes, She strives to achieve a level of fine artistry with each creation. Kathleen Marie's work has been featured in print, stage and screen. Celebrities who have worn her couture include Beyonce and Destiny's Child.
Kathleen's favourite colour is red, and she loves Cher and Elvis. |
Erin Colleen Williams: A sculptor and metalsmith currently based out of Philadelphia, Ms. Williams received her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Deriving inspiration from history, biology, anatomy and technology, her work is a hybrid of contemporary art and Victorian invention. She presents impossible artifacts which reflect today’s obsessions and cultural curiosities. Her installations have been exhibited nationally in venues such as the Arlington Arts Center in Virginia, the Florida State Museum of Art in Tallahassee, and Visual Arts Society of Texas in Denton and can be viewed on her website. |

Professor Starkall: Professor Starkall teaches at the Psychiatric Hospital of Cologne in Germany. (Assuredly, this is true.) During his work in forensic psychiatry, he discovered that the line between reality and fiction is not seldom without any noticeable difference.
Professor Starkall will offer a remarkable lecture on the culture of untruthfulness by which you shall discover why lies have such short legs, and find out all about Münchhausen and the Principles of Mythomania! |

Professor Starkall is the author of "The Bulgarian Petrol Station" and "Rye-Wolf", and is also a dedicated photographer.

Additional artists will be added soon.
