For the Dances of Vice Blue Moon Masquerade, we were honoured to feature performances by Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Septet and enchanting dance artist Autumn Ward who, accompanied by Michael Arenella, performed a dreamy vision of plucking the moon from the night sky. DJs Matthew and His Master's Voice spun the best dance music of the 1920-30s throughout the course of the evening.
Our vintage fashioned "paper moon" photo booth, designed and constructed by talented artist Carina Badalamenti, also debuted at the Masquerade, and was operated by renown burlesque and fine art photographers Jen Zakrzewski and Don Spiro, who took photos of our guests with authentic vintage polaroid cameras. We were also honoured with the presence of the writers and representatives of Steampunk Magazine, who graciously provided the many giveaways and prizes of the evening, which included swing CDs, silent films, magazines, vintage ties, a brand new acoustic guitar, and much more. Exquisite hand-made masks from Madame Khufu's Parlour of Incognito were also featured as prizes for the evening.
