Event Details

DATE & LOCATION:

Dances of Vice has been invited to take place on Saturday, APRIL 26th at the venerated Montauk Club - a magnificent private Victorian clubhouse in Park Slope, Brooklyn (25 Eighth Ave).

Its Venetian gothic architecture, carved mahogany woodwork, lavish furniture, grand ballroom and intricate stained glass windows are only a few of the club's signature attributes, and creates the perfect atmosphere for a tribute night to Brecht's music theatre masterpiece, The Threepenny Opera (Die 3groschenoper).

PERFORMANCE:

For the occasion, we are honoured to feature cabaret sensation Isengart, whose sepcialization in vintage Weimar-era German song and classic French Chanson has charmed audiences across Europe and throughout New York. Isengart will be accompanied by Dances of Vice club favorite, Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators, who will also be providing much of the dance music throughout the evening.

The club will be operating on two floors, and will feature a full bar service, live jazz and cabaret, a photography and art exhibition, a pool table, exciting vendors, our signature Polaroid photo booth, and much more. Our featured artists include Mashinka Firunts, Adrian Buckmaster, and Adriano Wilbur.
