As the new DOV blog was set up, I decided to feature a category for Fashion & Style inspiration, and knew my first post would pay tribute to one of my favorite designers, Elisa Palomino, a beautiful and enchanting woman I’m also lucky to call friend.
Elisa and her husband would often frequent Dances of Vice during their time in New York, which is where we met and had the opportunity to work together on various media projects and events before she left New York to conquer Europe late last year.
Her latest spring collection is inspired by the Greek myth of Persephone, whose abduction and return from the kingdom of darkness symbolizes the return of life after burial. After all, no winter lasts forever, and no spring skips its turn. And indeed, Elisa Palomino’s Eternal Spring collection transforms each lovely girl into a goddess, alive with feminine sensuality. I can’t wait to see what she does next!
